TikTok's count includes comments it no longer shows, such as deleted ones and ones it filters out, so pages often hold fewer than 50 and the list ends before the count.

No. Only public videos work. Deleted and private videos come back as not found, and videos with comments turned off show none.

Yes. It's one request to /v1/tiktok/video/comments with your API key, and threads come from /v1/tiktok/video/comment/replies. Both work inside Claude as an MCP connector, so you can ask it what viewers are asking for.
