Your account and keys

Keep your API keys secret. You’re responsible for requests made with them. If a key leaks, revoke it from your dashboard and make a new one.

Fair use

• Don’t try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
• Don’t share or resell your API keys. Building your own products on top of LurkAPI is fine.
• Don’t use LurkAPI to harass people or for anything illegal.

The data

LurkAPI returns publicly available data. You’re responsible for how you use it, including the privacy and data protection laws that apply to you. We aren’t affiliated with or endorsed by the platforms we support; their names are trademarks of their owners.

Credits and payments

• Credits are prepaid through Stripe and never expire. They can’t be exchanged for cash or moved to another account.
• You’re charged only for successful requests. Each endpoint’s cost is listed on the pricing page.
• Prices may change; credits you’ve already bought keep working.
• Free credits and free tries may change or end at any time.
• If something went wrong with a purchase, email us and we’ll sort it out.

Availability

We work hard to keep LurkAPI fast and available, but platforms change without warning, so endpoints can break, change or be removed. LurkAPI is provided “as is”, without warranties.

Liability

As far as the law allows, our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Suspension

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put the service at risk. If we close your account without cause, we refund your unused paid credits.

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll change the date above, and email account holders about significant changes. Questions: support@lurkapi.com.
