Questions
How do I view Bluesky posts without an account?
Type the account's handle, like nytimes.com or @jay.bsky.social, or paste its bsky.app profile link, and press Run. You see its latest posts, newest first, with no Bluesky account, login or app needed. Each page has up to 50 posts; press Next page for older ones.
What does the Bluesky viewer show?
Each post's text, date, link, images, video, link card and quoted post, with its likes, reposts, replies, quotes and bookmarks. Reposts are marked and the pinned post comes first, like the Posts tab on bsky.app. Change the filter to include replies, or to see only posts with media or video.
Is this Bluesky viewer free?
Yes. You get 5 free requests a day without an account. Sign up free for 100 credits, plus a top-up to 25 every day. No card needed. Each page of posts costs 1 credit.
Why does bsky.app ask me to sign in to see some accounts?
Bluesky has a setting that asks apps not to show an account to logged-out visitors, and bsky.app honors it with a sign-in screen. The Profile endpoint reports that setting as hiddenFromLoggedOut, so you can respect it in your own reports. Deactivated and suspended accounts aren't shown at all.
Can I export Bluesky posts to CSV or Google Sheets?
Yes. After a run, press Download CSV. You get one post per row with its text, link, date, author, counts and media links, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.
Can I see a post's replies?
Yes. Use the Post endpoint with the post's bsky.app link: you get the post, its replies three levels deep, and the posts above it in the thread.
Can I automate this or use it in Claude?
Yes. It's one API request to /v1/bluesky/user/posts with your API key, and every endpoint works inside Claude as an MCP connector, so you can ask Claude to summarize what an account has been posting.
