keyword_unordered matches all words in any order; keyword_exact_phrase matches the phrase as typed.

Creative format. meme is Facebook's name for image + text; none means text-only.

Ad category. Political ads also carry spend and impressions ranges.

Language of the ad text as an ISO 639-1 code, e.g. en or es.

total_impressions: most-seen ads first. relevancy_monthly_grouped: most recent first.

Only ads shown on or after this date (YYYY-MM-DD). The ad itself may have launched earlier.

Only ads shown on or before this date (YYYY-MM-DD).

How do I search the Facebook Ad Library?

Type a keyword, pick a country and press Run. This tool searches Meta's public Ad Library the same way facebook.com/ads/library does and lists the matching ads as a table: advertiser, ad copy, headline, landing page, start date and platforms.

Is this Facebook Ad Library tool free?

Can I download Facebook ads to Excel or Google Sheets?

Yes. After a search, press Download CSV. You get one ad per row with every field we return, ready for Excel, Google Sheets or Numbers.

Can I see all the ads a competitor is running?

Searching their brand name finds ads that mention it, including other advertisers' ads. To list exactly one advertiser's ads, use the Company ads endpoint with their page id or name.

Does it show ad spend or impressions?

Only for political and issue ads, where Meta publishes spend and impression ranges. For other ads the Ad Library shows copy, creative, dates and platforms, and so does this tool.

Which countries can I search?

Every country the Ad Library covers. Use a 2-letter country code such as US, GB or DE, or ALL for every country at once.

Can I automate this search?

Yes. The same search is one API request to /v1/facebook/adLibrary/search/ads with your API key, and it works inside Claude as an MCP connector.
